Are you ready to unlock the secrets of antenna modeling and design? Join us in this exciting online course offered as part of our International ELEDIA Talent Research Program (ETRP-INT). This course is designed for M.Sc. and Ph.D. students from all over the world who are interested in learning how to model and analyze elementary radiating elements (such as dipole antennas, microstrip patches, and other basic antennas) by using Ansys HFSS.
In this course, the attendees will learn the fundamentals of electromagnetic modeling and simulation for basic antenna design. Through engaging lectures, practical demonstrations, and step-by-step examples, they will gain a deeper understanding of electromagnetic radiation theory and simulation techniques. Hands-on exercises and homeworks will be aimed at testing the acquired knowledge, enforcing competences, and further familiarizing with basic antenna modeling.
The course will be offered in synchronous online modality through the Zoom platform. Video recordings of all lectures will be made available to all course attendees for a limited time period. The lectures will consider the use of the "Ansys Electronics Desktop Student" HFSS software (Free Software Download at: https://www.ansys.com/academic/students/ansys-electronics-desktop-student).
At the end of the course, all attendees will receive an attendance certificate from the ELEDIA Research Center. Upon successful completion of the intermediate and final hands-on exercises, an ELEDIA "ETRP-INT Competence" certificate will be also provided.
