Workshop Purposes

The power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) lies in its ability to address complex engineering problems by means of both global optimization (GO) and machine learning (ML) techniques.

This workshop offers a foundational overview of GO and ML methods tailored to tackle a wide range of engineering challenges. Participants will explore the theoretical and practical aspects of GO strategies and ML frameworks, understanding their synergies and applications. Through a blend of theoretical lectures and hands-on exercises in MATLAB, attendees will gain practical experience, equipping them to implement AI-driven solutions effectively.
